You know you?re in the 21st century when you start using email communication during an argument with your partner!
I have taken to using this method for a variety of reasons, not only does it mean that I can get my point across in a calm and controlled way without screeching and stopping Dad2BabyInsomniac from listening but it also means that he has a little relationship manual to refer to when he forgets things (which he does quite regularly!)
Maybe I should just learn to communicate in a calm and controlled way without screeching but why would I bother doing that when I can just email instead?!

I know it sounds ridiculous and people will ask what happened to communication but we do still talk about things, just after he knows exactly what the issue is and it has sunk in without me raising my voice and screeching it in his ear.
